Greetings, flower enthusiasts! I’m Sarah, the flower farmer and floral designer behind Bloomcroft, a thriving urban flower farm specializing in dahlias and other heirloom cut flowers in Minneapolis, MN.
Bloomcroft sprouted from years of nurturing a handful of dahlias in my backyard retreat. It’s a tale of my love for the art of cultivating and arranging flowers that blossomed into a celebration of sustainable, locally grown blooms.
At Bloomcroft, I don’t just offer beautiful blooms; I’m devoted to organic and eco-friendly practices. Every petal speaks to my commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.

Bloomcroft flowers are grown right here in Minneapolis, MN.
Bloomcroft flowers are grown with organic practices in our urban flower farm, ⅓ acre of land in the Whittier neighborhood of Minneapolis, MN. Its proximity to the city makes Bloomcroft’s new flower farm unique.
The cutting garden will include more than 60 dahlia varieties, including hard-to-find varieties like Maya, Cupcake, Irish D. Potter, Honka Fragile, KA’s Rosie Jo, Coseytown Babycakes, and many more. The cutting garden will also include a variety of annual cut flowers (Zinnias, Cosmos, Flowering Tobacco, Lisianthus, and Bells of Ireland to name a few) as well as several key perennials like Lady’s Mantle, Coral Bells, and Peonies, and woody shrubs like Hydrangea, Ninebark, and Spairea.
All annual cut flowers and some perennials grown in the Bloomcroft Cutting Garden will be started from seed.
